Day 1 SOFIA

Arrival to Sofia, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 2 SOFIA - RILA MONASTERY - SOFIA
Breakfast and city tour of Sofia, capital of Bulgaria including Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Hagia Sophia, St George Rotunda Church with medieval paintings and the Sérgio's Ruins. Departure to Rila. Visit of the Monastery of Rila (Unesco Heritage) which is the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. It is situated in the southwestern Rila Mountains. This architectural gem was founded in the 10th century and is regarded as one of Bulgaria's most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments and is a key tourist attraction for Bulgaria. At the end of the visit return to Sofia. Free time for your leisure. 
Optional: In the evening, dine in a typical restaurant with folklore.

Day 3 SOFIA - BOYANA - PLOVDIV
Breakfast and departure to Boyana, visit to the National History Museum and Boyana Church (Unesco Heritage). Lunch at local restaurant. On the afternoon we will continue to Plovdiv. City tour of Plodiv, including the most important sightseeing attraction of the city the Roman Theater and downtown. Free time for your leisure . Accommodation in Plodiv.

Day 4 PLOVDIV - KAZANLUK - VELIKO TARNOVO
Breakfast and departure to Kazanluk. Visit of the replica of the Treatise Tomb (Unesco Heritage) and continuation to Veliko Tarnovo. On the route we will also visit the Etur (open air ethnographic museum). Arrival to Veliko Tarnovo and panoramic city tour. 
The old capital - Veliko Tarnovo - is one of the most beautiful cities in Bulgaria. The houses, stacked one above the other, situated on the steep hills of the city, make the place look very different from the other cities of the country. We will visit the medieval fortress called Tsarevets, which has remained since the time of the Second Bulgarian Empire and offers its visitors some interesting ruins and a great view of the whole city. Free time for your leisure. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

Day 5 VELIKO TARNOVO - BUCHAREST
Breakfast and departure to Bucharest. We will continue to Romania border, visiting as well Giurgiu.  Arrival and panoramic city tour of Bucharest with highlight to Revolution Square. Originally called Palace Square, during the communist era was renamed Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej Square. During the Romanian Revolution of 1989 it was the stage of confrontations and demonstrations against the regime of the dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu, which contributed to that the name was changed to the present one. Overnight in Bucharest.
 
Day 6 BUCHAREST
Today will be  completely free for your leisure. 

Day 7 BUCHAREST - COZIA MONASTERY - SIBIU
Breakfast. Departure to Sibiu. On the way we will visit the Monastery of Cozia. Free time for lunch. Departure to Sibiu and panoramic city tour of Sibiu situated in Transylvania. It’s known for Germanic architecture in its old town, the legacy of 12th-century Saxon settlers. Around the city are the remains of medieval walls and towers, including the 13th-century Council Tower. In the upper town, Brukenthal Palace now houses the Brukenthal National Museum, with European paintings. The nearby Evangelical Cathedral has gravestones in its walls. Free time of your leisure. Accommodation in Sibiu.

Day 8 SIBIU - SIGHISOARA - BRASOV
Breakfast and departure to Sighisoara where we will visit the Citadel (Unesco heritage) and the Museum of History inside the Clock Tower. Lunch at local restaurant (not included). Continuation to Brasov, a picturesque and traditional city, the capital of Transylvania. Panoramic city tour, highlighting its center, the Church of St. Nicholas of Shei and visit of the Black Church. Accommodation in Brasov.

Day 9 BRASOV - BRAN - SINAIA - BUCHAREST
Breakfast. Departure to Bran and visit of the castle, fortress of the century. XIV, immortalized by Hollywood as the Castle of Count Dracula. In the afternoon, travel to the Sinaia region - whose name derives from the monastery of Sinaia - to visit the Castle of Peles from the 17th century, with its rustic appearance due to the combination of materials (wood and stone) in its construction. It was the former residence of the royal family of Romania. Later we will contine to Bucharest. Overnight in Bucharest.
Optional: In the evening, typical dinner with folklore.

Day 10 BUCHAREST
Breakfast in the morning and free time for your leisure. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour. Departure to xxxxxxx.
